An update from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office:

 

On Wednesday, January 26th, officers attempted a traffic stop in Johnson County on an allegedly stolen vehicle. The vehicle failed to stop and lead multiple Johnson County Sheriff’s Office units to Martin County before the driver crashed into the vehicle of a Martin County Constable.

No severe injuries have been reported.

John Strong and Ricki Spradlin were arrested and lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.

The two individuals are being held on a combined 13 charges, including fleeing and evading police, public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance, and others.
