Roy Edward Johnson 70 of Waverly Ohio formerly of Kermit WV passed away at his home with his loving sister and caregiver Belinda Zanders by his side on Saturday January 29, 2022. Roy was born January 14, 1952 to the late Dock and Myrtle Bowen Johnson.

He was surrounded by many loving friends where he lived at on Johnson Hill Road in Waverly OH. He loved to hunt, fish, and go mushroom hunting. He had a great sense of humor, loved playing jokes and was one of the best checker players. He had a great friend Paul Brownfield that we all appreciate for what he has done for Roy. He also loved to aggravate his friend Brandon Leffler who kept him going. Thanks to his personal shopper D.J. Matney for helping when Roy couldn’t do it. If you didn’t know him you missed out on a wonderful person. He will be truly missed but still loved. In honor of his wishes there will be no service as he will be cremated and taken to a place up Jenny’s Creek by the old homeplace where he grew up. Rest in Peace and fly high with the angels.
