In Pikeville, a couple was pulled over after the driver of their vehicle was spotted not wearing a seat-belt.

 

The driver, 23-year-old Alycea Kendrick, gave the officer who pulled her over permission to search her car. The officer discovered several packages and other containers filled with meth, heroin, pills, and marijuana alongside scales, other paraphernalia, and a firearm.

 

Kendrick and her passenger, 40-year-old Tony Coleman, both denied ownership over the drugs and claimed to not know how they got there.

 

Both individuals were arrested and charged with several counts of drug trafficking and possession.
