A man out of Floyd County entered into a guilty plea in federal court to drug and gun charges.

35-year-old Christopher Mackey admitted to selling 27 grams of meth to an informant in October of 2018. He is said to have also had a 9mm handgun in his possession at the time, despite his previous felony conviction.

In exchange for his plea deal, prosecutors have agreed to drop two additional drug charges and one additional gun charge.

Mackey is currently waiting for a judge to accept his plea.
