Two women out of Mingo County are now dead following a crash that took place this past Wednesday in Pike County, according to the Kentucky State Police.

 

39-year-old Kimberly Mayhew, of Williamson, was driving along RT 2992, at Aflex, when her vehicle went off of the road. The car then overturned in a creek. 

 

Both Mayhew and her passenger, 36-year-old Kelli Toney, of Delbarton, both died at the scene.

 

Officials with the Kentucky State Police are still investigating the crash.
