Roy Rogers McCarty, age 73, a resident of Stinson Road in Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 at his home surrounded by family.

Roy was born May 27, 1948 in Salyersville, Kentucky the son of the late Beecher McCarty Sr. and Gustava Carty McCarty.

Funeral services for Roy Rogers McCarty will be conducted Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky. Clergy David Jackson will deliver comforting words on the day of service. Interment will follow in the Beecher McCarty Family Cemetery on Stinson Road in Salyersville, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends Tuesday, February 15, after 5:00 PM and anytime prior to funeral services.
