A man out of Pike County, who was accused of sexual abuse 13-years-ago, has recently been convicted of sodomy.

39-year-old Joshua Hubbard, of Pinsonfork, is accused of having improper sexual conduct with a 16-year-old back in 2018. His trial was this past Monday; on Tuesday the jury decided Hubbard was guilty of sodomy and a persistent felony offender.

Hubbard had been free on a $10,000 bond following his indictment, but was arrested following his conviction on Tuesday.

He is currently being held in the Pike County Detention Center.

In 2008, Hubbard reached a plea deal in another sodomy case. The charges were dropped however, in exchange for him pleading guilty to one-count of sexual abuse. He was sentenced to five-years-in-prison in that case.
