A man out of Johnson County was pulled over this past Saturday, with officers discovering more than 100 grams of meth in his vehicle.
38-year-old Ned Davis, of Paintsville, was pulled over for a traffic violation on US 23 in Prestonsburg. He was then under arrest as a result of driving in spite of his license being suspended for DUI.
It was then that the trooper searched Davis’ car, finding meth alongside marijuana, pills, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm.
Davis is now charged with meth trafficking, drug possession, and other charges.
