Officials with the Kentucky State Police are working to investigate a shooting that took place in Rockcastle County.

 

The incident occurred on Three Oaks Road between a pair of neighbors, 57-year-old Donnie R. Lamb and 74-year-old George W. Davis, this past Saturday night.

 

Police say Lamb shot Davis in the chest.

 

Davis was then transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center with injuries NOT considered to be life-threatening.

 

Lamb was arrested and charged with assault. He is currently being held in the Rockcastle County Detention Center.
