First responders in Mingo County were called to the Edgarton Community Wednesday morning over reports of a man who had been struck by a train.

The incident is said to have taken place at around 7:00 AM. The man in question was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputies continue to investigate the incident and are still working to identify the man.
