A Wayne County Teenager is now dead after she collapsed at a Kentucky middle school.

 

According to the Wayne County Coroner, the 13-year-old girl was found unresponsive in a school bathroom. She was then taken to the hospital where she died.

 

According to a spokesperson from the school district, the girl was responsive, explaining that the proper medical protocol was followed. The coroner says there was nothing suspicious about the death, but an autopsy will be performed to determine the official cause.

 

The girl’s name has not been released as of now.
