During a traffic stop this past Tuesday, Johnson County Sheriff Doug Saylor arrested two individuals and recovered a stolen vehicle.

 

The stop was made on Colvin Branch Road just after 9:00 PM.

 

After learning the car was reported stolen, the Sheriff arrested the driver, 30-year-old Katelyn Allen, of Salyersville and her passenger, 34-year-old Andrew Calloway, of Paintsville.

 

Allen is charged with a felony count of receiving stolen property alongside her traffic violations.

 

Calloway is charged with public intoxication and for providing police with a false name.

 

Both individuals were lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center and have made bond since.
