A couple out of Pike County has been arrested on child abuse charges.

 

29-year-old Danny Waddles and 28-year-old Candace Triplett, both of Horseshoe Drive, in Pikeville, were indicted last week on four counts of child abuse.

 

The indictment claims they are accused of abusing or allowing the abuse of four children, all under the age of 12.

 

Additionally, Waddles was charged with murder last year in Floyd County. That case currently remains pending before a grand jury.

 

Both Waddles and Triplett are being held in the Pike County Detention Center.
