
This past Monday, a man was sentenced to life-in-prison for killing his grandfather.
39-year-old David Manns signed a plea agreement, pleading guilty to murder in the first-degree along with three counts of wanton endangerment in connection to the shooting death of Homer Manns.
Manns will serve a life sentence with a recommendation of mercy along with an additional five-years for each count of wanton endangerment.
According to officials, Manns shot and killed his grandfather, Homer Manns, in the Delbarton area on Scarlet Road. This happened in May of 2020.
Manns allegedly threatened to kill his grandfather before shooting him multiple times. David is also said to have fired shots at three other people.
