2020 Fayette Mall Shooting Suspect Enters Into Guilty Plea

The man who was charged in the deadly 2020 Fayette Mall shooting, has recently pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including first-degree manslaughter.

 

According to police, Xavier Hardin shot and killed 17-year-old Kenny Bottoms Jr. inside of the Fayette Mall in August of 2020. Hardin additionally pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault, second-degree assault, and wanton endangerment.

 

Two additional people are said to have been struck by bullets during the shooting.

 

Hardin is expected to be sentenced in May of this year.
