Magoffin County Sheriff’s Deputies who were serving a search warrant this past Friday night, left the scene with an arrest made for meth trafficking.

 

Deputies went to a home off of RT 7 at around 8:30 PM this past Friday. Once there, they asked the occupant of the home, 40-year-old Nathaniel Stephens, if he had anything illegal on his person. Stephens then handed the deputies a bag that contained 4.7 grams of meth.

 

A subsequent search of the home uncovered a variety of drug paraphernalia and other trafficking material. Officers are also said to have discovered 21 grams of meth inside the man’s truck, alongside a loaded firearm.

 

Stephens was arrested on meth trafficking and other charges.
