On the morning of March 5th in Wayne County, deputies with the sheriff’s office were called to the Twyford Point Road Boat Ramp concerning a truck that had entered Lake Cumberland.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered the truck half-submerged in the lake, along with its driver, who was later identified as Troy C. Humble, of Monticello.
Members of the Monticello Fire Department and Wayne County emergency Services managed to remove Humble from the water. He was then transported to a hospital for treatment.
After removing him from the lake, officials realized Humble was under the influence. He has been charged with public intoxication, reckless driving, and failure to maintain insurance.
