A man out of Martin County was arrested on Tuesday morning after police say he fired a gun multiple times in his apartment complex.

 

Officers heard at least three shots as they arrived, each coming from around apartment 42.

 

The occupant of the apartment, 33-year-old Johnathn Jackson, is said to have informed officers that he was shooting at someone who was holding a woman hostage. The woman Jackson made these claims about is said to have walked by officers just minutes after, clearly not being held hostage.

 

Police found five 9mm casings on the ground outside of the apartment’s front door.

 

It was also reported that Jackson appeared to be impaired and hallucinating occasionally.

 

He was then arrested and charged with wanton endangerment and disorderly conduct.
