The body of a Floyd County man was found  in Auxier, according to officials.

 

46-year-old Paul Setser, of Auxier, was last seen on December 30th of last year near apartments on Old Abbott Mountain Road.

 

On Wednesday, the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office reported discovering a body along Old Ratliff Road, off of RT 825 in Johnson County. The State Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the identity of the body on Friday. Examiners were also able to confirm that Setser did not die of natural causes – because of this, investigators have opened a new homicide investigation.
