Officials with the Kentucky State Police are investigating a shooting in Pike County.

 

The incident took place on Widows Branch at Stopover on Friday. Three people are said to have been shot with two dying as a result. The third individual was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

 

The identities of the victims have not yet been released.

 

Detective Joseph Coleman is in over the investigation.
