Deputies with the Magoffin County Sheriff’s Office went to serve a search warrant early this past Monday morning. Seven people were taken to jail, including two who face drug trafficking charges.

 

The raid took place on Old Lick Creek Road. Officers on the scene reported discovering meth, heroin, scales, bags, and other items.

 

46-year-old Jerry Combs and 39-year-old Michael Compton were each arrested on meth-trafficking charges. Combs faces an additional charge of heroin trafficking.

 

The other five arrestees were charged on possession of drugs or drug paraphernalia.
