Deputies with the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of domestic dispute near Crescent View Drive. Upon their arrival, officers discovered a woman with blood coming from her forehead. Her attacker had run away.

 

However, deputies were able to locate the suspect, who attempted to flee, but was caught.

 

Richard Travis Francione was arrested and charged with assault in the fourth-degree, criminal trespassing in the first-degree , fleeing or evading police in the second-degree, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

He was transported to the Laurel County Correctional Center.
