Woman Driving Stolen Vehicle Arrested After Traffic Stop

On Wednesday, officers with the Louisa Police Department announced they had arrested a woman in the area after they had initially stopped her because the vehicle she was driving had been reported stolen last month.

 

33-year-old Shelly Ann Collins was arrested for receiving stolen property.

 

Further investigation revealed three pounds of meth, four ounces of marijuana, one ounce of heroin, scales, and small baggies.

 

Collins is now facing multiple charges, including receiving stolen property ($10,000 or more), trafficking in a controlled substance – first offense (Heroin), trafficking in a controlled substance in the first-degree (Methamphetamine) – first offense, trafficking in marijuana, persistent felony offender, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
