She was born at Cordia, KY on May 12, 1934 to George Whitaker and Rose Henson Whitaker.

Funeral services for Louraney Whitaker Fugate will be held at Hindman Funeral Services Chapel, Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at 11:00AM with Dylan Combs officiating. Burial will follow at the Young Cemetery at Lotts Creek, KY.
Visitation will be held at the Chapel, Monday, April 11 from 6-9PM.
