A man who was wanted on robbery and strangulation charges has been arrested.

 

Chris Ball is accused of robbing a home and attempting to strangle a man this past Monday at a home on Mill Creek Road in Wayne County.

 

On Monday, a neighbor noticed the garage door of the home was open, with a stranger’s truck parked inside. The neighbor is said to have removed the keys from the truck, and began walking back to their vehicle to call police. Ball is said to have ran out of the house and attacked the neighbor. Ball allegedly held the neighbor in a chokehold, threatening to kill him if he didn’t hand over the keys.

 

The neighbor survived the encounter, but was hospitalized.

 

The owners of the home discovered that the wiring had been cut from their home and garage, leaving holes in the walls and ceilings. The countertop was allegedly stolen as well in addition to fans being torn from the ceiling and the home’s new heating and cooling system.
