A man who was charged in a deadly home invasion in Madison County is now facing more charges.

Shannon Gilday is now charged with first-degree strangulation and assault in the third-degree. According to court records, he was charged on Saturday.

A preliminary hearing is currently set for April 27th. Gilday was indicted just last week for the murder of Jordan Morgan in February of this year. He stands accused of breaking into her father’s home and shooting her.
