Students attending John D. Adams Middle School were evacuated from the school as a precautionary measure after smoke is said to have been seen in the hallway. This news coming from a Facebook post made by the middle school on Monday.

All students are said to have been safe and under supervision while they were evacuating.

Police investigated the situation and determined the building to be safe. The students were then allowed to re-enter the building. The fire department later cleared the school.
