Joseph “Joey” Tackett, age 42, of McDowell, KY, husband of Dana Leann Vaughn Tackett passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022, at his residence. He was born July 3, 1979 in Pikeville, KY, a son of Paula Denise Stumbo Tackett and the late Thomas Turan Tackett. He attended the First Baptist Church.

Funeral service for Joseph “Joey” Tackett will be conducted Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 1 PM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin. Burial will follow in the Lucy Hall Cemetery, McDowell, KY. Visitation is after 6 PM Tuesday, and after10 AM Wednesday at Hall Funeral Home. There will a church service Wednesday evening at 7 PM. Hall Funeral Home is caring for those arrangements.
