A man out of Knox County was recently sentenced to 10-years in prison for armed meth trafficking charges.

37-year-old David E. Hamblin was arrested in July of last year after authorities discovered 50 grams of meth in addition to a loaded firearm in his vehicle during a traffic stop.

Hamblin pleaded guilty in November and must serve at least 85% of his sentence before he can be released. He will then be under the supervision of a probation officer for four years.
