A woman out of Rockcastle County is now facing charges after her children called 911.

 

Casey Ballinger is said to have four children. Her 10-year-old son called the police, explaining that his mother was on drugs. The boy expressed to police that he was afraid she would hurt him and his siblings.

 

Ballinger permitted officers to search her bag, which is said to have contained needles. According to police, she also admitted to doing heroin.

 

The children were removed from the home. Ballinger now faces charges for endangering the welfare of a minor in addition to drug-related charges.
