Law Enforcement out of Whitley County are currently searching for a man who is said to have stolen a school bus and then proceeded to wreck it.

 

The incident took place at around 11:00 PM on Monday night. The bus was parked at Boston Elementary. Video surveillance footage shows the suspect enter the bus where they found the keys and drove off.

 

The man proceeded to take the bus for a joyride when, a few minutes in, he leapt from the bus door while it crashed.

 

Officials with the Whitley County Sheriff’s Office say they have a possible suspect and are working on more leads in order to make an arrest.
