James E. “Jigg” Meade age 72 of Flat Gap, Kentucky passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the Paintsville ARH in Paintsville, Kentucky. He was born November 21, 1949 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Dan and Pearl Bolen Meade.

James “Jigg” was a heavy equipment operator and a carpenter by trade, and a dedicated member of the Flat Fork Freewill Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 04, 2022 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Ford McKenzie officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson County Memorial Park at Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Tuesday, May 03, 2022 from 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and any time prior to funeral services.
