Marsha Lucille Sturgill, 72 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Sunday, May 01, 2022 at Pikeville Medical Center. Marsha was born May 06, 1949 at Bowling Fork, KY to the late Dallas Racine Potter and Velma “Pinkie” Bowling Potter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Dallas Racine Potter, II and three sisters, Donna Lea Potter, Jewell Dean Potter and Sherry Ranee Potter. Marsha is survived by her husband, David Sturgill of Elkhorn City, KY; son, Mark David (Misty) Sturgill of Elkhorn City, KY; daughter, Rebecca (Eugene) Bischoff of Batesville, IN; and grandchildren, Joshua Bischoff, Courtney Standifur, Angie Eckstein, & Ryan Bishoff. She is also survived by brothers, George (Brenda) Potter and Ernest Glenn Potter both of Elkhorn City, KY and Dallas Potter of Lexington, KY. Visitation will be from 6-10PM Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 04, 2022 at 2PM from the chapel with Jerry Overstreet officiating. Burial will follow at Annie E. Young Cemetery, Pikeville, KY.
