The senate matchup for this November will pit Republican Rand Paul against the Democratic Charles Booker. Each individual won their respective party’s senate nomination in the primary election.

Paul is currently seeking his third term in the senate while Booker is hoping to finally break into the scene.

Kentucky’s last democratic senator, Wendell Ford, held office in 1992.
