Lawrence County Native, Noah Thompson has won the 20th season of American Idol. Noah is the first American Idol winner to come from Eastern Kentucky.
He won on Sunday night when he competed in the top three against fellow competitors, Leah Marlene and HunterGirl for a shot at winning a large cash prize in addition to signing a record deal.
