
Williamsburg Police Officials recently arrested a suspect after finding him at the bloodied scene of a domestic disturbance call.
Officers were dispatched to 250 South Second Street. Upon their arrival, officers discovered 31-year-old Darryl Earls at the front door, covered in blood. Police also found a female victim with life-threatening injuries to her head and face.
Earls is said to have attacked the woman in the face and head with a machete multiple times. The victim was treated by Whitley County EMS before being transported to UK Medical Center. Her condition was said to be critical.
Earls was transported to the Whitley County Detention Center on charges of attempted murder, domestic and assault in the first degree.
Williamsburg Police Department Officials are currently investigating this incident.
