Sheldon Vernal Cox, age 64 of Garrett, Kentucky, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. He was born on July 17, 1957, in McDowell, Kentucky to the late Carl and Evelyn Chaffins Cox. He was the husband to Deidra Cox.

Family will receive friends from 6PM-9PM Saturday, May 21, 2022, and 3PM-9PM, Sunday May 22, 2022, at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home Chapel in Hindman, Kentucky with Family reflection service each evening at 7PM.

Funeral Service will be 1PM on Monday, May 23, 2022, at the Rockfork Bible Church in Garrett, Kentucky with Rick Franklin officiating.
