Middlesboro Police Department Officials have announced the arrest of a man who failed to return from a test drive.

 

Taylor DeHart was arrested on Tuesday evening.

 

Officials say DeHart was test-driving a gray 2009 Ford F-150 from Ellis Auto and never returned. He then drove to the BP gas station on 38th street, pumped gas, then allegedly left without paying.

 

Police arrested DeHart, who attempted to run out of the police station. He was arrested again following a short foot-chase.

 

DeHart now faces misdemeanor theft charges along with a charge for escape.
