Police arrested a man out of Pike County who had managed to successfully evade them on three other occasions.

 

On Tuesday afternoon, a state trooper spotted 25-year-old Nathan Scott, of Phelps, as he was hauling a trailer full of washers and dryers along RT 632. The officer recognized Scott and attempted a traffic stop before having to chase him once again. 

 

Scott turned onto a dirt road leading to a strip job. Along the way, he lost all of the appliances within the trailer and then the trailer itself. His truck eventually stalled, which led to Scott attempting to flee on foot. He was apprehended after officers deployed a taser.

 

Scott was arrested and now faces a felony charge of fleeing from police along with other charges.
