Jerry Lockard, 67, of Williamson, WV, passed away Tuesday morning, May 31, 2022, at his residence.  Jerry was born May 13, 1955, at Hamtramck, Michigan, the son of the late Haskel Lockard and Ethel Fry Lockard.

Jerry was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served for over 17 years.  He had also worked for Mountain Enterprise and was a member of the Turkey Creek Freewill Baptist Church.  Survivors include his loving wife, Sheila Ann Lester Lockard of Williamson, WV; his children, Amber Lockard, Jerry Bradley Lockard, Christopher (Michelle) Steele, Jack Garnett (Tausha) Steel and Harley Ray Lester; his siblings, Nita Lester, Harold Lockard, Larry Lockard, Haskel Lockard, Billy Lockard, Goldie Huff and JoAnn Arteaga-Perez.  He also leaves behind several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.  Visitation for Jerry will be held Thursday, June 2, 2022, beginning at 12 noon at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with his funeral to begin at 1 PM with Mikey Smith officiating.  Following the funeral, Belfry Chapter #141 Disabled American Veterans will conduct military services.  R.
