Escaped Inmate Caught, Additional Arrest Made

35-year-old Robert Hubbard, who was arrested on drug trafficking charges, escaped from the Knox County Detention Center while on a work release on June 9th.

 

On June 14th, Hubbard was seen with 43-year-old Jessica A. Baker while getting gas at a station in Flat Lick by a deputy jailer. The pair got inside the vehicle and allegedly tried to hit the deputy jailer on their way out.

 

On June 16th, Knox County Sheriff’s Office Officials arrested Baker and charged her with wanton endangerment in the first-degree, assault in the third-degree, fleeing or evading police in the first-degree, and hindering prosecution or apprehension in the second-degree.

 

Hubbard was arrested separately that same day. He was charged with escape in the third-degree and fleeing or evading police in the second-degree.

 

Both individuals were transported to the Knox County Detention Center.
