Lora Hewlett, age 53 of Van Lear, Kentucky passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022 at the Prestonsburg Health Care Center.

Born May 20, 1969 in Wabash, Indiana, she was the daughter of Thomas E. Hewlett and Alice M. Bowling Hewlett of Van Lear, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at the Van Lear Freewill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville. Friends may visit the church from 5:00pm to 8:00pm Tuesday and anytime prior to the service on Wednesday. Roger Hill will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of the Phelps & Son Funeral Home.
