A man accused of kidnapping a woman in Alabama was arrested in Kentucky. We are told that authorities in Alabama believe the man may be a serial criminal.

Kentucky Police Officials were told to be on the lookout for Tony White the day after police in Alabama say he kidnapped a 75-year-old woman at knife-point.

According to police, Betty Cobb was unloading groceries when she was attacked by White. He is said to have forced the woman into the trunk of his car before taking her to his home.

Betty Cobb was located within six hours of being reported missing and was found taped inside of White’s closet.

The following night, White was driving southbound on I-75 in Richmond. Officers there say the man surrendered peacefully.

Alabama Law Enforcement are currently investigating other kidnappings that are said to be similar in nature, some dating as far back as 2012.

White is currently being held in the Madison County Detention Center as he awaits extradition.
