
A woman out of Pike County is now facing a number of charges, including some felonies.
42-year-old Lisa May, of Pikeville, was pulled over at around 4:30 AM Thursday morning on Owsley Road. The woman is said to have failed a sobriety test in addition to officers discovering meth inside her purse. A four-month-old child is said to have been in the back seat.
May was arrested and charged with DUI, endangering the welfare of a minor, and possession of meth. Jail staff is said to have found additional meth in her pocket during booking. She now faces additional charges of promoting contraband and meth possession.
She is currently being held in the Pike County Detention Center.
