It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Jack “Poss” Brewer of Kermit, WV; who passed on July 23, 2022 at the age of 82. He has gone to join his loving wife, Pauline Spaulding Brewer, who preceded him in death on May 31, 2019 after 56 years of marriage.

He was born in Mingo County, WV to the late Carlos Brewer and Eula Webb Brewer on November 22, 1939. Jack was a retired Coal Miner and a hard worker all his life and he loved horses and his church family.

Visitation will be after 5pm Monday, July 25, 2022 at the Old Jenny’s Creek Baptist Church of Jenny’s Creek, WV with funeral being conducted on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 12:00pm with Ray Messer Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Brewer Cemetery of Block Hollow, Kermit, WV. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of Jack “Poss” Brewer.
