Police have now officially charged the driver of a vehicle they say caused the crash that ended three people’s lives on I-75, Monday night.

21-year-old Joshua Poore, of Clovis, California, was released on Wednesday from UK Medical Center before being taken back to Laurel County.

He is officially charged with three-counts of murder. Officials believe he was intoxicated at the time of the crash.

Officials also received surveillance video footage from the weigh station along I-75 at mile-marker 34. The footage shows Poore driving the wrong way.

The victims, Deshawn Lowe, Iliya Dukes, and Kevin Criglear, were all in their mid-20’s and all from the Chicago area.
