
FEMA mobile registration centers are now open in Floyd and Pike counties to help flood survivors who experienced uninsured loss from the devastating flooding that began July 26.
The Floyd county location is the Martin Community Center and The Pike county location is 15308 US 23 South at Dorton.
All FEMA mobile registration centers are open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
FEMA representatives will be at the centers to help flood survivors with applications for federal assistance and provide information about other disaster recovery resources.
FEMA financial assistance may include money for basic home repairs, temporary housing, or other uninsured, disaster-related expenses such as childcare, transportation, medical, funeral or dental expenses.
Homeowners and renters living in Breathitt, Clay, Floyd, Knott, Letcher, Perry and Pike counties who can’t reach a mobile center can also go to disasterassistance.gov, call, 800-621-3362, or use the FEMA mobile app to apply for FEMA assistance.
