A dispute allegedly surrounding a broken meth pipe, ended up sending one Pike County man to jail.
Troopers with the Kentucky State Police responded to a call at a home on Camp Creek Road over reports of a man assaulting a woman.
Upon their arrival, one trooper noticed the woman on the porch with a man lying next to her. The man was later identified as 36-year-old Raymond Johnson, of Stopover.
The woman informed police that Johnson had attacked her after she broke a pipe, allegedly punching her in the face repeatedly, beating her with a cane and belt, biting and strangling her, and attempting to pull out her tongue. According to the trooper’s report, the woman’s injuries were consistent with her claims and she could barely see given that her eyes were swollen.
Justice was arrested and charged with felony assault and strangulation.
