Barbara Faye Murphy 76 of Joes Creek Pikeville, KY passed from this earthly life Thursday August 4, 2022 at Atrium Mercy Health in Charlotte NC.

Barbara was born Saturday October 27, 1945 in Pike County, KY a daughter to Ernest and Doris (Dalton) Gilman of Pike County KY.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Doris (Dalton) Gillman, her husband Charles Murphy, her sons David Murphy, Johnny Murphy, and her daughters Tina Buzard and Tonya Thacker, one grandchild Austin Allen and one great grandchild Skylar Threadgill.

Visitation is on Tuesday, August 9th from 6 PM to 10 PM. Funeral service is on Wednesday, August 10th starting at 12 PM. Both Visitation and funeral service will be at Community Funeral Home in Pikeville, Kentucky.
