Officials Search For Suspects In ATM Robbery

Police are currently searching for those responsible for destroying two bank ATMs in Southwestern Virginia.

 

The first incident involving an ATM occurred on July 30th at around 1:00 AM. The ATM at New Peoples Bank on Main Street in Haysi, was destroyed. Officials say that no money was taken.

 

The second ATM was struck on August 8th at around 2:00 AM at the New Peoples Bank in Anchorage, in Grundy.

 

The ATM was also destroyed, with its cash being stolen this time around.

 

Officials believe the same three suspects are responsible for both incidents.

 

Police are currently searching for a dark-colored Toyota Camry with Florida license plates. This vehicle is believed to have been used during the incident in Haysi. A Ford F-250 is also believed to have been used in both incidents.
